After completing the online application form, shortlisted applicants will be invited for interviews.
Selected start-ups will be offered the opportunity to take up residence in The Cage – a co-working space in the Group’s One Island South headquarters in Hong Kong, known as such for its unique design.

Through a 12- week programme, start-ups will receive expert mentorship, access to the Group’s most senior leaders and specialists as well as seasoned experts and entrepreneurs from our international network.


4-week Mandatory Learning Programme

The winning start-ups will attend speaker sessions and panel discussions to enhance their knowledge of retail and customer experience, among others, while developing their technology. An immersive trip to China will be organized for the companies to explore the Chinese market, as it is core to our businesses.

8-week Online/ Offline Bespoke Programme

Each team will validate its technology with users and be equipped with new insights to further refine their businesses. Mentorship will happen online or offline depends on the companies’ preference.



The start-ups will each present to one or more of the Group’s companies to pitch for a long-term commercial agreement upon completion of the programme. The relevant Group companies will reach an independent, commercial decision on whether to implement the proposed commercial agreement. An external demo day will also be organized for external stakeholders.








The Cage is a high profile, physical showcase space in the Group’s One Island South headquarters in Hong Kong, known as such for its unique design which features retro concertina gates.
